speaking of 2k9, does anyone else get frustrated with the crappy rooks the game creates in franchise mode. It's like they don't want you to be able to develop whomever you want into a superstar so they create all these slow fat guys. Ahh, well, Yao will be dominant until he's 40 so its not a big deal.
There was a thread in the NBA forum that had Von Wafer in 2K9 that actually looked like Von Wafer...with a vohawk and everything. The roster I have has Von Wafer looking like an old guy with a half-fro. Was the Von Wafer in the NBA forum photoshopped or patched? How do I get that version of Darth Wafer?
Hmmm, the live in roster still did not update. I am going to download the 2009-02-20 roster file now...
If the trade deadline moves are shown in the 2009-02-20 roster update for the XBOX 360, it is not downloading properly... I am still getting Rafer on the Rockets... Nevermind, I just restarted the game and my xbox actually downloaded the living roster update...
my first game I used him only in the 4th and he scored 14 points off layups and FTs. That was pretty good so I started him my next game against the Lakers and he destroy them lol. All I did was drive in with him and pressed the layup button (X) and he would make contested layups after layups in heavy traffic or he would draw a foul to get to the line. I actually had like 5 and1 plays that game with just him alone. He ended up with 36 pts shooting 60% and he was doubled most of the game! I think I might put a highlight video of the game on my 2k page sometime later. PS. the game was on Superstar.
anyone know why cook isn't on the new roster for the rockets? Im just curious to see how he plays in the game...
