Lebron James.. 6'8" 240 lbs, does this seem a bit too heavy for you?
I remember Kemp during his Reign Man days, he was like 6'10" 240lbs and he had that big butt.

It seems to me that King James is already at his NBA weight limit and they still say that he could easily put on 10 to 15 more??!!

6'8" 255lbs??..Man that's Karl Freakin' Malone 'cept shorter!

I think the Cleveland organization should start putting him on a low carbo diet...seriously

Just wanna know what is a "viable" NBA weight coz' personally i wouldn't want my point guard to have a power forward body..... Anthony Mason anybody?

When they talk about how he "could put on more," they're saying that's how much they think he could put on without sacrificing a lot of explosiveness. They don't want to turn him into a power forward.

Any weight is "viable" in the NBA. I mean, Chuck came into the NBA at like 280, and he was outrunning a lot of guards down the floor. Some guys, like Lebron, just happen to have frames that can handle that kind of heft without sacrificing athleticism. There aren't many of them...

Having seen Lebron play several times at 240, I think that's right about where he should be at. I agree that he could break 250 and not see much negative effect. He certainly wouldn't gain anything from losing weight.

There are only a handful of guards that can still be athletic and have the muscular frame that LBJ will develop. Guys like Maggette, Q Richardson, and Finley are around 6'6" and 230 lbs. For LBJ to be so explosive at 240 lbs and only to get stronger, he will be punishing guards and small forwards for years to come. Heck, if his passing and rebounding are as good as advertised, then he could even play the 4 later on in his career.
