That's excellent news. Now, the jubilation of Yao Ming being picked number one can be shared in China as well.

Hey W&S, where are you from in China? I'm from Hong Kong myself.

Interesting... I was actually in Shanghai a couple years ago, I remember watching a CBA game on TV, but the Sharks weren't playing. I really wish I could've gone to check out one of the games so I can have something constructive to say about Yao Ming, instead of speculating like the rest of us.

I just want to say we're all very appreciative of all the information you're getting us. Please keep it up.

I was on NBA.com the other day and saw a little Chinese character with the words "NBA China" and a link so I clicked it and it was basically the site in Chinese characters. Pretty cool.

I've got to believe that they are...

    1. Being inundated with hits from Chinese visitors.
    2. Eagerly anticipating the opportunity to market the NBA through Yao Ming in China.

Smart move by Stern & Co.

Wow, so lucky! I spent Christmas at Sanya a few years back. Are you at Sanya or Haikou?

And are you from Hainan originally, or a recent migrant? (I know there are many Dongbei-ren working there now, and they got along very well with my father, who also has a little Dongbei in him.)
