Just like Kelly said, this would receive a lot of negative press for the NBA/Stern if a GM were to retweet something charitable or nice that a player had said. All in all, I wasn't thrilled that the best NBA player on the planet decided to buddy up last season but Stern and the NBA has made me become jaded with the league with nonsensical things like this $1 mill fine business.
...how does retweeting merit the need for a new rule when there is no rule against Donald Sterling taking full ads out in the paper for a black history month promotion (only in the wrong month) and calling blacks "underpriveldged". What fight is worth fighting here?
