I checked in about 9pm last night and saw that there was a 6pm deadline, so I didn't pick anything. A midnight-6pm window on Mondays is kinda tight for me. But under the proposed new rules, I pick... Atlanta over New Jersey (Nov 15)
Phew! I somehow survived. I picked the Warriors to beat the Wolves tonight. The T-Wolves had a 13 point lead in the first quarter and Golden State came back and got a 13 point lead in the third quarter. Minnesota came back from that deficit and took about a 10 point lead with a few minutes left in the game. Lucky for me they went cold the last four minutes and Golden State managed to tie the game. The game went into overtime and the Warriors were able to pull out a victory, 113-110. See you next week!
Why would you take Boston over Atlanta of all teams? Atlanta was undefeated and played them to 7 games in the playoffs last year. Just wondering...that would probably be the last game I would be making a pick from this week.
Atlanta coming in on a back to back, both on the road, to the defending champions' house.. and how about the fact that Josh Smith, arguably their best, and definitely 2nd best player, is out? The Hawks have played well, but they had problems with freakin OKC without Smith.. I know they took the Celts to 7, but the Celts have looked better since that series--both the rest of the playoffs, and to start this season.
