we dont need this season to continue...there's a lot of past basketball recorder for basketball aficionados to watch....we dont need no new NBA games even for years from now... theres a plenty of basketball already recorded on interwebs... you cant watch it all even if you tried... you cant exhaust it all even if you spend the rest of your life just watching the games

Of course we've never had playoffs in July. We've also never had a season put on hold due to a global pandemic, any response to this is going to be something we've never seen before.

Just have the teams play each other in 2K. I'd watch. It would be hilarious.

    I disagree.

Saying we don't need any new sports for X years because we have stuff to watch from the past is like saying we don't need any movies, books, music or any sort of media to be produced again for X years because of all the movies, books, music, etc from the past.

Just because I can spend the rest of my life reading every book that's ever made in the past or listen to every song by every artist in the past, doesn't mean new ones shouldn't be produced or made.

yeah i agree i was merely trying to be positive, I am for the games to continue, I was even against pausing the season...its just that a lot of material is available for the lovers of the game anyway.. these days whenever i am up for a great game of basketball they are just a few clicks away .. that they are some of the games from the 80s or leagues other than nba makes it even better...

For the NBA and fans this virus was a blessing in disguise, this season was going nowhere and was the most boring one in recent years. The narratives were already written and didn't need much to happen.

Uhm yes...Giannis or a LA guy as MVP ---> check
LA teams pushed as juggernauts who will likely meet in the WCF ---> check

    What more do you need?

Nah. Certainly wasn’t boring to me. Nor was it close to some blessing in disguise. Ridiculous. You have multiple teams that have a legit chance at winning. Nothing like the 1-2 teams in recent years. first people cry about that, now you're trying to complain that this is good enough either. just stop it

I’m wondering if Westbrook will regret agreeing to defer some of his checks now.

    That's a communist world view.

Hey, the communists defeated Corona virus on their own terms! Not bad for the people's republic!

At least d'antoni can retire due to natural disasters!

D'antoni seriously needs to call it a career and sit down somewhere.
