With the preseason now over what are everyones predictions. My pick for the Rocks may be high but I'm going on a likely best case scenario. If they don't finish at #6 or even in the playoffs its cool, this team is still light years ahead of where they should be.

Francis3, I'll give you 10,000-1 odds that your 1-2 from both conferences don't come true.

Maybe he is talking RECORD wise, and not who wins the individual divisions.

Order of Finish(based on record)

Western Conference
1) Lakers
2) Portland
3) San Antonio
4) Phoenix
5) Seattle
6) Rockets
7) Jazz
8) Minnesota
-------------------------
9) Mavericks

And no, the East doesn't matter.

lets see
West - No anaylisis
1.Blazers
2.Lakers
3.Spurs
4.Jazz
5.Suns
6.Sonics
7.Kings
8.Rockets
------------------------------------------
9.Wolves

Eastern Conference
1.Magic : looked awesome in preseason , T-Mac and Grant look like a lock for best tandem
2.Knicks : If Camby can step up , Longley won't have to do much
3.Pacers : Losing Smits hurts Jalen Rose and Reggie Miller will need to lead this team
4.76ers : Iverson has a supporting cast now , a cast can be a fake though just ask Anna-Nicole.
5.Heat : Losing Zo makes the Center position in the East no-existant , Eddie Jones can step up , but will he ?
6.Raptors : They lost Christie and McGrady for Corliss Williamson which really doesn't help them much , Carter will have to carry this team , he will .
7.Bucks : They will be disapointed but they could beat the Knicks in the Playoffs
8.Hornets : This team had depth but no good starters , they could suprise though , they will fight the Celtics for the last spot

RocketMan95- I guarantee you that the Raptors will be one of the weakest teams in the league. I know for a fact they wont be top 5 in the east. Most I give them is 6th best, but thats it.

I agree, all of the games that Vince won last season with a lucky shot won't be there. They'll squeak into the playoffs and have another early exit.

That is a possibility but I'm still predicting them to have a 6-8 seed season. If the Raptors exceed my expectations then you called me on it.

Don't get me wrong Dean.....I don't care much for the Raptors, but I think with the players they have, and a proven leader, that team will gel.

We'll see.

I forgot about the Raptors getting Jackson. I don't think losing McGrady will affect them at all, especially with this addition.
