    7. Houston ( Last week 10) 18-9 Off: 109.3 (11), Def: 104.8 (5)
    With everybody except Rafer Alston able to play (Tracy McGrady's still achy) and Ron Artest now coming off the bench, the Rockets have gotten offensive, shooting .521 in their three wins this week. They've got a tough week ahead though, with visits to New Jersey, Cleveland and New Orleans before returning home to face the Jazz.

    why would we be behind two teams that we not only have a better record then, but have also beaten? that's confusing but whatever.

    At least we're making progress. IMO I expect the Rocks' to keep climbing as the season continou. Yea Big M, I agree with you, I guess they haven't gave up on overrating the Hornets yet.

    If we play well this week against NJ, CLE, NO, and UT, we would be shooting up to the top pretty quickly.

    Why is SA ahead of us.

    We have a better record
    We had the same record the last 10 games
    We are 4-1 last 5 games, SA 2-3
    We are 3-0 last 3 games, SA 1-2.

    Cavs and Magic are so over rated. Look at their opponents for the past 2 months. So far, I havn't seen them showing true contender quality while matching up with the better west teams. Putting them before Lakers simply showed how biased the author were. Is he from the east?

    Man we're only fifth. Good thing the season hasn't ended yet or we wouldn't have home court in the power ranking playoffs.

    Putting Spurs ahead of Rockets is a joke! but than again NBA power ranking is a joke too!
