    And rightfully so. But if you look, Cuttino Mobley was though and he should have been a candidate more so than Steve I believe with 4 good games this week and shooting 50% as well as leading the team in scoring right now. (1 point over steve :) )

    Sorry Mobley! I should have named you instead of Stevie. Whatever! But I brought this up since there was a thread about Stevie pushing for POW.

    :confused: Strange...Kobe Bryant from the West and Ray Allen for the East, and then "Other Eastern Candidates" and other "Western Candidates"? I guess they're going to do a player of the week from each conference this season.

    I agree, leebigez. This is a team that didn't make the playoffs last year. The most important thing to me is stacking up the W's. Steve is definitely a big part of winning the 3 games this week, but indiuvidual honors aren't a top priority right now. If I thought this team would only win 20 games this year, then I might be looking for some sort of silver lining (like POW). But I see much bigger things for this team, so I don't care if a Rocket doesn't get mentioned all year as long as they all play as a team and keep getting the Wins.
