NBA Official Suspended for Gesture, Language

    NEW YORK, Jan. 12 (AP) -- NBA official Rodney Mott was suspended three games without pay Friday for making an obscene gesture toward a fan and also using inappropriate language.

    Mott made the gesture and remarks after the Portland Trail Blazers' 93-90 loss to the Miami Heat on Sunday night in Portland.

    The 49-year-old Mott is in his ninth season as an NBA official.

    Yessss, getting a taste of their own medicine. I wonder why he did it though.

    He could have ejected the fan off the game and get away with all these embarrasing suspension. :)

    We all know the refs cant get off Wade's nuts. This dude went a bit too far standing up for his man.
