    i agree, the "first initial / first syllable of last name" idea is really weak and over used. (c-webb, d-wade, t-mac, d-rose) ugh.

    also suffering from lack of creativity and overuse is 2 initials / jersey number. cp3, ab0, etc...

    Kenny Smith needs to start giving players nicknames again. He stopped after "Half Man Half Amazing," "The Matrix," and "Stevie Franchise," then it all went downhill...

    I thought he was gonna start up again with Blake "PosterBoy" Griffin, but I guess he decided against it.
