I saw this another site and wondering how would be good choices?

You can pick any player in the NBA past, present, and possibly future?

    1. Karl Malone

He definitely had the body type to be in the NFL, in his prime he was well over 260 and could possibly play TE, LB, or even DE.

    2. Michael Jordan

He could've been a receiver and his competitive nature could made him All-Time great....I know people will bring up the baseball thing....but I think football is easier to catch than a baseball. Also, when CBs start talking trash to him, you don't think he would blow right by them or manhandle them once he got the ball.

    3. Lebron James and Kobe Bryant

Big athletic bodies, 6,9 and 6,7 - TE or Wideouts, both of players could probably out jump any all-pro WR and TE in the league and both have will to win. Another thing to point is both men are actually somewhat larger than most WRs and little bit smaller than the TEs, and their in sport that requires to run and run very often without stoppage...which means that could last whole game.

    4. A.I,

Vick 3.0, he was actually all-star QB in high school, too.

    5. Matt Harpring

I could see him actually turnout to be very good NFL middle linebacker or strong safety with little muscle mass. Maybe, even Quarterback. I think he has the intelligence and physical toughness to survive a good 10 seasons in the NFL. I don't know if he played in high school or not, but I know his dad was in the NFL.

    6. Charles Oakley

I could see him as decent defensive end, but I think he might be kinda slow. But his reach and aggressive play might make him somewhat better.

    7. Jason Kidd

I could see him being slightly above average, possibly a borderline all-pro - QB.....I think he would have the ideal size for QB with little more weigh to take the punishment. He's very smart, has great court/field awareness, good vision, and some of his passes are very precise and on the money. If he can fight for rebounds with guys twice his size, I think he could tussel with LBs and S.

    8. Chuck Hayes

A Rockets mention. He definitely has the frame and build of NFL Linebacker, he's already 240. And if he bulked up some more, he might shoot up to 260 or even more, I think he would be great against power running backs or teams that like smashmouth up the middle style....I think he might be a liablity against quicker teams or running QBs.

    Charlie Ward obviously.

    Nate Robinson obviously.

    Matt Harpring Obviously.

    Iverson Obviously.

James could play TE, WR, DE, S, or OLB, and dominate...

Amare Stoudemire would be an unstoppable posession reciever (TE or WR), he is fast, long, with a nasty vertical. Think Matt Jones.

    D. Howard may workout like Amare but he isnt as quick.

The NFL looked at Glen Davis for DE.

I think T-Mac could be a sick WR.

He was good in high school apparently.

Yao could be used on defense against long field goals... just put him in the middle and have him stand up.

I could see Francis as a safety/kick and punt coverage.

Battier could be a deep snapper.

Bonzi Wells = Pro Bowl OT. He's got the size... :)

Aaron Brooks would be a decent return man, what with his speed and all.

Also, just a hunch, but I think Charlie Ward would have been pretty good at football...

Maxwell was an all-state defensive back in football in high school
he could probably be an awesome corner or safety

for players now, LeBron would be unstoppable as a wideout.

I heard something about how Barkley played football at some point, either college or high school. The team used him to block kicks.

Nah. Battier would be blocking tight end. Old school fans would rave about how he was never out of position, never got a false start, and did a yeoman's job keeping up with bigger linemen and quicker linebackers and safeties. Everyone else would compare him to Dallas Clark and say that he sucks.

D-wade has got some speed and can adjust his body quickly. I think he could be a great running back or reciever.
