Its tomorrow @8 o clock, and i will probably kill myself if Memphis wins it. We don't need more dynasties in the west to play our old and slow Rockets...

    GO BOSTON!!!! GO ATLANTA!!!

I am hoping the Knicks get the 1st pick just see their reaction when they have to hand Oden over to the Bulls.

Kevin Garnett deserves better and he should get Durant for his loyalty to one city and franchise.

All the other "tankgate" losers deserve to have their picks stolen from them. Boston, Memphis, Milwaukee and Atlanta.

The Bulls and Wolves are they only team that deserve a player of that caliber.
I know all those other perennial lottery teams will screw this up big time. Especially the Clippers and Hawks who keep messing up drafts every year.

I hope the top 3 all goes to the east. Like the above poster said, we need to balance the NBA.

As a Rockets fan, I am hoping the top 2 picks are EASTERN conference teams and that at "minimum" Atlanta is in the top 3 so that pick doesn't go to Phoenix.

That said, I am pulling for Atlanta to win the lottery. That team desperately needs a little luck and a star player for their franchise.

And and I hoping that Memphis doesn't get the #1 pick so Yao doesn't have to bang with Oden 4 times a year. The West is tough enough.

Quite frankly, Rockets aside, as an NBA FAN it would be nice to see the EASTERN conference get some mroe talent since the league is so unbalanced.

It will be interesting if a team like Chicago, Minnesota, New Orleans somehow sneaks into the top 2. And Milwaukee could really make a dramatic turnaround next year if they got in the top 2 considering they have a rather solid roster that was just killed with injuries last season.

I want the Suns to get that pick. They'll be forced to move that a valuable asset because of LT, be it a lottery pick or player.

i just hope someone feels sorry for the rockets and gives up the 1st or 2nd pick for rafer alston and juwan howard.

    that would turn things around.

Exactly, Deuce. Here is what I think is the best case scenario top 3:

    1. Atlanta (Phoenix doesn't get the 4 or lower pick, possibly end up trading a frontcourt player)
    2. Milwaukee (relatively harmless Eastern Conference team)
    3. Boston (just so Bill Simmons will be in extreme, agonizing pain for years)

If Atlanta gets Oden, which PF is expendable on that roster? Shelden, Josh Smith, Marvin Williams? Something has to give. Man if only Morey could sell the Hawks on the merits of Rafer Alston ... quick, get Rockets111 on a plane for a sitdown with Billy Knight.

Knight: I don't understand R111 ... Rafer had 5 assists, shot 37%. What good would he do for us?

Rockets111: How stupid are you? It's like everyone in Atlanta is taking crazy pills. Don't you know there is more to the PG position than shooting? Rafer won't shoot more than 4 shots a night -- he'll be your 5th option and should easily average 12+ assists with all those weapons. He has the support of Jeff Van Gundy and that's all that matters, Billy.

Warrick, Gay, and Durant/Oden?! Legit trade bait in Miller, Swift, Cardinal. An all-star/trade bait in Gasol. Decent trade bait or veteran leader from Stoudamire. Man that team could be fun. I am all for competition. I am all for the west (pun intended). Make it happen...

They should hire the Suns assistant, trade for Bibby, keep Miller, fun fun fun.

Hey, I pray for the top 2 picks to go to the East. But eventhough they got Lebron, D-Wade and Chris Bosh out of the 03 draft, they still stink as hell. Until the job security of stupid GMs like Isiah Thomas and Danny Ainge are under threat, there will be no parity in the NBA.

We should have tanked the season when Yao went down.

We should have started rafer's loser a** and chuck "the scrub" hayes and given PT to Juwon howard.

Oh wait we did...How the HELL did we even win 52 games?! We cant even tank the right way.

If it's up to me the top 5 would be:

Chicago (just to hear Knicks fans reaction)
Celtics (my 2nd favorite NBA2k team, imagine them with Oden/Durant, even in real life, they have way too good a team to be this bad)
Hawks (so the Suns don't get a high pick)
76ers (they deserve it for not tanking)
Grizzlies (so they can put Yi in the same division as Yao)
