Really? I never go to nba.com or rockets.com for anything outside of Inside the NBA, interviews, and press conference vids (which there obviously won't be any of during the offseason/lockout). basketball-reference.com, 82games.com, and Clutchfans are miles better in terms of statistical/player content.

Why would they remove namesand highlights from team websites?
Do players having their name on their team's official website get an endorsement or something?
I really wanted to see Jonny Flynn fly in a Rockets uniform.

You can't call them RPD or Rockets Power Dancers.
They can't be wearing any Rockets attire and they can't mention or even hint at the Houston Rockets in any way shape or form.

David Stern is a douchebag. This not only creates a headache for fans who just want to visit their respective team's website, all these webmasters and such will have to work tirelessly to remove everything and eventually put it all back.

    Extend the deadline you fools.

It doesn't have to be like the instructions the league is presenting; they might as well shut down the team websites and the NBA.com website; it's so much easier and will cost less and take less time to accomplish.

BTW, Billy Hunter and David Stern are assholes!!!

I think you have the wrong idea. It said that players' names would be removed. The owners still own the teams, so I'm pretty sure they can still be rockets power dancers.

On the other hand, not wearing rockets attire might be a good thing depending on what they end up in.

I'm quite happy for them to not wear anything.

They might as well just shut the sites down. Though that majorly piss off advertisers who've already paid in
