I think Yao should rank at least higher than amare stoudemire and shaq in the list(duncan....center?) but i'm fine with t mac's ratings. So Rox's has the third best ratings as a team in the game, pretty impressive best of luck to Rox in the new season
Yao should be higher. I don't think Shaq is now better than he is. I also don't agree with Elton's Brand positions. Is he better than Bosh? I don't think so. T-Mac 92 - pretty good.
im fine with TMacs.. Yao deserves to be a bit higher..but at least we're the third best rated team in front of the damn spurs
I've stopped being frustrated at game ratings and instead change the ratings to my own liking if I don't like them.
Back court players and swing players seem to be rated much higher than post players in this game. The Live series seems to be an unbalanced game for that reason as everyone would want to play facing the basket.
I agree with the Brand ranking. To me, he is better than Bosh. Yao is obviously underrated AGAIN, probably because he can't do the quick spin and dunk or any of those freak athletic moves that typically dominate these kinds of games. Hopefully them make his turnaround jumper unstoppable. T-Mac - nice! good to see he's still held in high regard by EA, hahaha
Calm down folks! Remember, this is NBA Live. As long as they get their new gimmick features in, they could care less about anything else.
Ok, I just got the PS2 version of NBA Live (leaked on the net), and I'm looking at the Rockets roster. No Scola or even Steve Francis on the team. JL3 is there and so is Sura. Not sure if it will be the same on 360/ps3 but I'm sure there will be.
i have one syllable for you all: wii when 2k9 comes out on the wii, then i'll get that. but till then... chasing the latest graphics has been boring for years. give me new gameplay. and like one guy said, just tweak the ratings. you know yao ming is a 92-94 so make him that way. were i on a ps2/ps3/xbox, heck yeah i'd get 2k8 over live 08.
Eh. If I wanted to get interactive with a basketball video game, I'd go out and hoop for real instead of trying to dribble my controller. It may work well for other games, but I don't know about basketball, specifically 2K8. Shooting may transfer over well but how about things like dribbling, moves, boxing out, rebounding, ect. Seems too much for one hand. When I play games, I like to just chill and relax. I don't want to have to move around and wave my arms to play a game, especially when it comes to hoops.
Good move. I remember when NBA Live 07 came for the forst time. First I thought: "I have to buy it, it's gonna be a great game and Tracy is on the cover". Fortunately I didn't buy it and I'm happy now with that decision. That game really sucked so now I won't be suprised if NBA Live will suck too...I'm not excited about that game since last year
