So recently at the E3 convention (Electronics Entertainment Expo) Sony showed off its PS3 and also EA demonstrated the upcoming NBA Live 07 on PS3. What is notable is that Tracy McGrady was used as the demo player which immediately caught my attention. They showed off the physics of the game in the video which can be seen here in which T-Mac moves his head around, does some crossovers, dunks, footplanting, etc. Also, you can download the video http://files.filefront.com/nbalive07111/;5050860;;/fileinfo.html if interested. I heard from a friend who's into video games (so it's not official or anything, no link, etc.) that T-Mac is probably going to be on the '07 cover. Him and Wade were supposedly the tossup for it together on it last season but Wade got the cover over him, and T-Mac didn't mind. My friend doesn't even like basketball, he's just a nerd like that...
Oh snap, I didnt realize about NBA Shootout because I wasn't really into the NBA that much back then. I've heard of Shootout, but NBA 2Night and NBA Starting Five? What the hell? Did those even go into production, never seen em in my life.
NBA Live on the PS3, i cant even imagine how brilliant that will be. right now Live 06 is good enough for me. I dont even own a PS2 but my mate who does hates it when i beat up on him despite all the practice he gets to put in. Ssshhhh - dont tell non Rocket fans this but has anyone noticed Swift is ridicolously good on the game. Surely they will rectify this for 07!!!
yea nba 2night came out before espn came out with nba 2kwhatever. and probably the reason why you didnt notice both of them is because nba video games are dominated by nba live and nba 2ksomething.

yeah, swift is a beast in the game. I thought my game was glitchy when it had my swift after 1 year in season mode at above 80. haha, righhht.
i totally agree, that game was the bomb, man i used to play it all the time, wen i got older n went back n played it after like playstation n **** came out i found alot of glitches, like that one spot on the other side of the court where no matter who it is will hit a full court shot, still man great great game, and great music, and that nba live start up adverisement in that empty arena is so tite and the E A Sports Its In the Game, sounds real cool too, o man good times, still live 06 rocks
I never played 2k6 but 2k5 sucked donkey's a** and if 2k6 is anything like it then live is sooooooooo much better
Well the Live series have better graphics and features IMO. The 2K series have better gameplay. The Sony NBA series apparently aren't that good but I'm lookin forward to the 07 version in which you can have your own baller and play in like real world mode like GTA.
I agree. I used to be the biggest Live fan there was. Then I played 2K6 on 360. It is better by far. Live on 360 is trash compared to 2K6. I always keep an open mind though. We'll see what Live and 2K7 bring to the PS3.
