NBA Live always hypes me up every single year, then fails miserably up to my expectations every time. I miss NBA Live 95 with the trailblazers.

What they need to add in before I can change my mind:
    1. Better physics engine. Right now you play on ice, the ball doesn't jiggle on the rim like a real shot should and you bounce off awkwardly like there's an invisible wall.
    2. Individual personalities and styles. Tony Parker, Devin Harris, Dwayne Wade need to drive to the basket fearlessly, Webber needs to shoot with his curling shot and do stupid behind the back passes, Garnett and McGrady need to shoot flat lateral shots etc so on and so forth. Right now, everyone can and has the same post moves of Brand, Shaq shoots freethrows the same way steve nash does and everyone shoots a ray allen jumper. Make players unique with their unique moves and looks please.
    3. Player skill doesn't make up enough for lack of stats. What I mean is, sometimes you take a rookie like Chris Paul who they gave average stats his first year and you do everything to give him open looks, nice drives to the hole, great defensive plays etc etc... but in the end he still kind of sucks because his stats suck. Yes, you can do cheese layups through the pick and roll every time to make him seem good (because of the crappy physics engine) but it's still not a system where a skillful player can really stand out beyond others and play to test their reaction/coordination enough like Tekken, Starcraft, Quake ... etc etc.

Not to impressive imo, especially if they are cut scenes not using the real game engine.

I like that he wants more big man moves, Yao should be a monster then.

This is only for Xbox 360, or if for the regular xbox too?

The screens are from the 360 version, but AFAIK there will be a Xbox version (as well as just about every other platform probably). There will probably be another NBA Live or 2 available on the Xbox I imagine.

It didn't help that they originally showed off that stuff right after/before (can't remember which) showing off probably the best looking next-gen games thus far.

more than likely, i'm going to buy 2k7. 2k5 and 2k6 has been better than the live series in practically every aspect of the game.

it's a shame that live has dropped off so much. live 95 and 96 was the shiznit, and theyve slowly been churning out crap.

those screen shots look almost as good as last years nba 2k6 screen shots.

What is it with EA? Do they use all of their best guys for Madden and then the interns for NBA Live?

come on EA use your money and catch up!
