Ok so i ordered NBA leaguePass Broadband only last year to watch games. And sort of heard from other people the subscription autorenewals by itself. Do you have to call them up and tell them not to renew your subscription?

I know for sure my satellite provider, Dish Network, and others renew automatically. Not sure about the online subscription.

I did. You get a recording that tells you to go online.

Are you talking about League Pass Broadband, which is what the OP asked about?

Im in Australia and looking at getting NBA Broadband League Pass too. Am I able to order just the broadband component? And does it even support overseas networks like Australia?

I think you could last year. It's worth every penny. I got the early price of $84.95 for the entire season.

Nice. Ill do some research. I had a shared account with someone in New Jersey 2 seasons ago and it was worth it. Because of the time difference most games are played when Im at work so with this i can come home and watch the archived games without knowing the score and no ads. :) :)

i honestly don't remember anything about signing up for auto renewal, nor do I see how that would work sensibly. What happens when someone loses or cancels their credit card?

what I do remember is my account not working on the last night of the regular season and I was pretty miffed. they were trying to sign me up for the playoff package.

I'll keep my eye on my nbalp bb account as well as my banking/credit card statements...

I think they will try to mass auto renewal, and if a credit card expires or is cancelled, nothing will happen.

I am talking only about NBA League Pass Broadband where you watch the games on your computer. I don't have cable since in college its free.

I don't remember reading anything about auto-renewal. I have to believe they would send out an email giving last year's subscribers the chance to opt out. Otherwise they could risk a huge backlash of people trying to get the charges reversed.

If they auto-renew at $84.95 for the season, count me in. :D

I've had league pass for almost 6 years... you tell them to take out the auto-renew near the season start date. Auto-renew usually gives you a discount.

part of the reason I cancelled... they "auto-renew" all right.. but the regular price.. what you paid last year was just that year's promotional offer..

regular price runs around a hundred or so dollars..

$99.95 was the price after promotion. How did you cancel?
