League Pass would give you every single game not televised in your area - and at an extremely high price. I got it once, and enjoyed being able to flip through 4+ games at a time most nights. However, I watched less than a quarter of the games shown at best, and can't really justify the $200 some dollars they ask for these days.

It would be awesome if they offered a lower priced package for a "Team Pass" - letting out-of-region fans like yourself to continue following your fav team.

Is pretty much every NBA game televised on league pass? Is this through satelite only? or can I order this for cable?

Im really curious about it and could not find more specific info..

I guess it would be a waste of money to get it this year but I will look into more for next year.. I would have my choices of any nba games playing? that sounds pretty tight.

how much did you have to pay for everything?

    setup/installation
    monthly
    was it worth it?
what games do they not show?

League Pass is exactly as you say. NBA TV is just a cable channel. Here in Austin it is included with Digital Cable. It carries a game or two a night, as opposed to all the games. It's kind of like one huge infomercial for League Pass.

I disagree w/ emjohn. Having the NBA League Pass has been awesome. If you are a Rockets fan and live elsewhere, it is worth the money you spend on it. It costs 200 w/ tax, but you can watch any game you want on that night and NBA TV. I have enjoyed every minute of it and definitely going to jump on it again next season.

It is on both. There is an early bird fee of $159 and then it goes to the regular fee of $179. No setup or installation fee at all. Just $159 + Satellite or Cable Monthly Bill + Tax= 200+. The only game you might not see is your local games (but this is very rare). It will also tell you if the game is not being show on NBA League Pass where it is (ESPN, TNT, or ABC).

It's free for today and tomorrow on channels 721-733...Free Rox tonight...Also, it's $99 for the rest of the year, which is a good deal...

Order by April 15, 2004 and get the rest of the 2003-04 season of NBA LEAGUE PASS for $99 or 3 payments of $33.

NBA League pass is GREAT. I can watch all the Rocket games and that to me is worth the price. I get it from Directv, but I think it's available on some cable systems. About 2/3 of the way through the year they will offer you the rest of this year and next year for next years price, so that may be the way to go now that the year is half over. My only problem is this. The east coast games are killing me. I live on the west coast, and tonight's game starts at 4:30...heck I'm at work until 5:00, then pick up the wife, fight traffic...maybe catch the 4th period. Oh well..it's still all good. Do it man

If NBA League Pass is too expensive for you, you can try NBA Audio Pass. It's like $10 a month, and you can listen to every game online. With Gamecast, it's pretty cool. I've had it for several seasons.

    Good luck!

When NBA League pass first came out they offered a "NBA Team Pass" that allowed you watch only your team's games, but it was only like $10 or $20 less than the league pass, and my guess is only a idiot would have gone for that so they canned it.

League Pass is one of the greatest things ever created. I don't think I would have been able to move outside of Houston if it had not been around. I know ... That's pretty bad.

I love league pass... it has been a savior! I moved to Phoenix this year and it is awesome to be able to watch any Rockets game I want. In addition, it allows you to keep up with all the other teams because you can flip through 4-12 games a night. Buy it with the early bird special, where it is 159 or 3 installments of 53 bucks.

    Worth every penny.

But... if you live on the west coast, it is killer when the games start at 4:30pm!!
