I'm sure it's been discussed but...

I just got digital cable (yes i'm late. i hate tv though.) and i was wondering how much NBA League pass will cost me. Can't seem to find prices anywhere. Anyone? Anyone? Thanks in advance!

Also, anyone know how many Rox games I get to see? I'm sure this topic was covered. I think it was around 20 televised.

With basic digital cable (Time Warner I'm assuming), you'll be able to see 33 games including what's nationally televised and what comes on a new channel (910 in Austin, maybe everywhere) that you now have, called NBATV. League Pass costs around $150 for a full season, but that will only let you see 49 Rox games that you would have otherwise been unable to view.

You should get all but eight of the non- nationally televised games. The other eight will be on f***ing NBATV.

Dallas Thomas i think that is the best anwser that could have possibly been given.

Do you think that channel will come in though in Austin with rabbit ears up, or do you have to have cable.

Unfortunately, you can't even have just the regular basic cable if you want NBATV around here, you gotta go all out.

BTW, does that mean you're gonna come to Austin? If so, you're on your way to a great city.

Anyone know much about the NFL league pass? Can you get the Texans games on there or are they blacked out like the Rockets games are locally?

They only black out the games locally if the tickets don't get sold out by a certain time before the game. The Texans won't have that problem this year, I'm sure they'll sell out every game in time, so you'll be able to watch every game on CBS for free.

No wonder Houston was ranked only 21st on the best sports cities list. Jackass people would rather watch a team that's only been around 1 year and never gave them anything and that gets picked apart by Quincy "Winner" Carter than watch one of the most exciting teams in basketball that sells out all its road games because every other city recognizes their badass-edness.

Probably should have said this from the start, but I don't live in Houston. I live in Brooklyn, NY. $159 is not cheap but it's worth it. Thanks guys!
