Okay, in a nutshell... I'm originally from the DC area but live in NYC ... I'm a Steve Francis (Tacoma Park connection) fan -- and therefore a Rockets fan -- but obviously my heart is with the Bullets/Wizards. I am seriously considering getting NBA LEague PAss this year. But I have a question first: Digital TV (not DirecTV) has a sports package where you get all of the Fox Sports Net channels and a few more... and I've heard that Rockets games are on Fox Sports Southwest, which is included in the package. I haven't done too much research into the prices, but overall Digital TV seems to be cheaper than DirecTV. Would it be at all similar to DirecTV's LEague PAss? DirecTV's League Pass is $159 for the whole season if I order before Sunday (9/30).. . seems like a great bargain, but for some reason the overall DirecTV cost seems a bit more expensive than the $40 a month Digital TV is. So what I'm requesting is some customer testimonials about either of these services. Can anybody help?
The Fox Sports Net package doesn't show you any games. They are all blacked out, because of the NBA League Pass. I suggest getting the Fox Sports Net package in addition to the League Pass. I'm not a DTV subscriber, but I think it's only like 6 bucks more per month to get the 20-30 Fox Sports Net affiliates. At the very least, you'd get to watch the different Regional Sports reports, which gives you a local view of all the teams. Better hurry and order the package before it goes up in price. BTW, I don't work for DTV.
DON, DON'T FALL FOR THE SCAMS OF FOXNET. LEAGUE PASS IS THE BOMB, THEY SHOW ALL THE GAMES ALL THE TIME. I'VE HAD IT SINCE IT WAS OFFERED AND ITS GREAT. YOU COULD GET THE BASIC DIRECTV SETUP FOR $29 A MONTH AND ADD THE LEAGUE PASS FOR $40 A MONTH FOR 4 MONTHS. IF YOU'RE A BASKETBALL JUNKIE LIKE I AM, YOU CANT GO WRONG
