I posted this in the other thread, but I figured i would ask here. Here is my issue. I purchased NBA League pass broadband. I live here in Houston, so watching the Rocket games is not a problem. However, I do travel quite a bit and would like to be able to watch my Rockets when I am not here. The Rocket games are always blacked out. I cant even watch an archived game because of the black out restrictions. Is there anyway to get around this? Will changing my account information work? Ie- using my in laws address in San Antonio? This really blows as I wanted to be able to use my laptop to watch the Rocket games anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.
I would call them and tell them your problem. Maybe they can adjust your account so that you can watch the games out of your zip code. One thing that might be causing problems too, is how far you are going from Houston when you travel. It's not just your address they are blacking out, they also blackout according to ip address.
How do you access the Internet when the games are blacked out? Are you still going through your ISP or are you using an ISP not local to the Houston area?
I use the same laptop everywhere I go. I travel mainly in texas- Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio. It would really suck if the Rockets game are blacked out. They are the reason I bought the package.
