I think that this question may be useful for a lot of other users as well:
1). Will we be able to watch all the Rox games if we get NBA league pass?
2). Will the games be in HD?
3). Is there a deal or discount around for Comcast League Pass?
4). I only have basic cable (comcast) now, must I upgrade my service to get NBA league pass?

    Thanks for your attention,

    Go Rox!

1.) Yes, except if u live in Houston or near that area, i think
2.) there will be (at most) one HD game per night and most likely it will not be the Rockets
3.)Early bird special applies to every cable company

I might be wrong but i think you need the digital tier. Didn't Comcast take over Time Warner here in Houston? I had Time Warner in Waco and they made me upgrade to get league pass.

Im interested in League Pass as well because i Live in Australia and get barely any games. So basically im going to purchase the whole League Pass just to watch the games on the net.

    Few questions:

    1. Can i get it in Australia. If so how do i go about getting it?
    2. How much Bandwidth is each game because in Australia, even though we have unlimited plans, after we DL 10GB or 12GB we become capped which means the connection slows dramatically.

    HELP PLEASE!

I started a thread in the Hangout as well but no many people replied :(

You can download Sopcast, etc and watch the games online for free.

Also, the games are archived on nba.com. I think the games were available for all to view after they are over (can't watch live unless u pay for league pass). They stay up for like 48 hours. You just have to sign in on nba.com.

Ye ive watched it via streaming for the last few years. Only problem is that it chews up my download limit and also alot of the games are on while im at school.

When you say the games are archived on nba.com does that mean i can watch it whenever i want within 48 hours even if i dont have league pass?

Also how big is each game if i was to watch it not live?

    Thanks for your help man.

Agree. That worked last season so maybe nbalp will be free again. If not you need a sopcast, tvu, etc...

I am trying to work something out under Ubuntu, having trouble running Sopcast. Hopefully will get it fixed before the actions start.

Yes you would be as long as you also get NBA Channel, ESPN 1 & 2 and TNT/TBS. Some games will be on those channels, plus the local channels when the Rockets play the Spurs.

Most of the games will be on the NBALP channels though. I've been getting it for several years now, since when I lived in NY, and now that I'm in LA

If anyone is interested in setting up a small group to create and host torrents for the season then please email me ghettocheeze@hotmail.com.

With the community we have on this forum, it would be very easy to distribute and share torrent that stay healthy and leech-proof.

Im living in Australia and i needed some help. Firstly how do i get NBALP because i dont have a tv provider like dish network or whatever you guys use.

Secondly how much bandwidth does each game use. If its like 700mb a game then theres not much point in me getting it cause i have a 10GB limit :(

    HELPP!

Its very simple Yetti. Just type in the program into google and go to their home pages and download it from there. Or go to this site http://myp2p.eu/NBA.htm and on the left under P2P Info there are links to go and download the programs. Check it out its very easy. I suggest you download Sopcast, TVU Player and either PPLive or PPStream ( one of them is good one not so good i cant remember)

If you need anymore help just ask me. I dont know much about computers either but this is somethign i can help with :D
