Bulls have won 19 games in a row at home on TNT!

If they win again today against the Cavs.. I don't know what to think.

The Bulls are unwatchable. Such a putrid, boring team.

the bulls against lebron and the bulls on tnt. just basically unstoppable. once again they are draining 3's against a lebron team (already 2 of their top 4 games this season and heading for another top 5 total). irving sucks. thompson misses every shot he takes.

and i would say iman shumpert might be playing the stupidest game in the history of basketball. i think he's already taken 3 off-the-dribble 20 footers, and i don't think any were against the clock. he seems to be seeking them out, and he sucks at shooting already. the rockets would be mad if harden took 3 in a week. shumpert has 3 in about 20 minutes.

hard to see this cavs team with dead weight like d will and the other d will actually getting minutes is going to do anything against the warriors. the D is gone. and that's if they even get to the warriors. boston or washington, hungry teams could beat them.

I still feel like LeBron can 'go to the whip hand' and get everyone going in the playoffs, but I can't remember the last time I saw a LeBron team look this bad for such an extended period of time. It's like the other guys aren't as motivated bc they already got their ring last year.

even the refs want the streak to continue. already a huge foul call edge for bulls and then after the cavs complain about irving not getting a continuation, on the very next possession the refs give the bulls one of the more ridiculous and-1's you'll see. butler got bumped while clearly in no sort of shooting motion, then doesn't even fire up a shot immediately but takes 2 elongated steps and hangs in the air and still gets a "he didn't dribble again" continuation the nba did away with several years ago (which is why people don't get 3 ft's every time someone stops a fastbreak with a foul and the player throws up a half-courter like they were planning to shoot).

Cleveland will be fine once the playoffs start.

Since it would be bad for the stars to just sit out, they are playing with "DGAF about the regular season anymore"/50% effort. They don't care about HCA. They already made the playoffs and could literally lose the rest of the games and still make Finals.

IOW, they are resting while actually being on the court.

i think you definitely have to worry about that. they might think they can just flip the switch when they haven't earned that right. the 2013-14 heat were kind of a mess and won only 54. and they were finished when they faced the spurs. i think this cavs team tops out at dragging themselves to the finals and then gets murdered. too many one-dimensional players, too many old guys, too many slow guys, too many injured guys.

and the refs have to give lebron the exact call i just mentioned because of their previous screw ups. but don't worry, lebron can't make a ft.

since most of the bulls games i watch are against cleveland, what exactly the hell do they do the rest of their games?

every cavs/bulls games seems to involve the bulls making an above average number of 3's. meanwhile in this game the bulls just gave the cavs (a great 3 point shooting team) 2 wide open 3's and they bricked them both. the bulls haven't committed a turnover for 12+ minutes. their D is locked in. and yet i check the standings and the bulls aren't even in the playoffs. do they just literally not care about any other games for some reason?

No way. I don't buy that 'resting while actually being on the court' at all. After that awful game against the Spurs, you don't think they wanted to be sharp tonight? And home court aside (which I don't think they need), they definitely don't want to be in the 2 seed IMO and face a possible path of Miami-Washington-Boston. Not saying any of those 3 could beat them, but it could certainly take a toll on them. As a 1 seed, they'd face EITHER Boston or Washington. As a 2 seed, they'd face BOTH.

They beat the Warriors at home on TNT a few weeks ago. 18 straight at home on TNT... weird streak.

I only watched the last few mins tonight, but the Cavs look broken. If they end up #2 or #3, there is a legit chance the Celts or Wizards make the Finals.

not only do the bulls strangely seem to shoot 3's well agains the cavs, they somehow always guard the cavs well. the bulls are 13th in defense, so basically averaged. and yet the cavs, who average 110 points, have scored 94, 99, 105, and 90 against the bulls. this will be like 3 of the 18 games cleveland has scored below 100 in. basically elite-level lockdown defense in almost every game.

to me they just look slow. so many old guys trying to guard people. and one of the young guys is an already slow kevin love. i have no doubt they can try harder, but i don't see the D being anything to write home about no matter what.

and the bulls shoot 48% on 3's and hold the cavs to 93. it's weird when you just expect unexpected things to happen and then they actually do.

Bulls show up against elite rival teams. HAHA. Thats what makes the NBA beautiful I guess. Bulls will lose to the Nets one night and win against the Cavs the next. They'll beat the Raptors like they own them and yet the next night they'd get pounded by the Nuggets or something.

Bulls vs a divisional rival is always a great watch, no matter how terrible the Bulls are on paper.

What in the world would giving other teams false confidence accomplish? Wouldn't you rather a team have NO confidence against you rather than 'false' confidence? This makes no sense at all.
