Call me a Debbie Downer, but I want Memphis to win. Take a look at Portland's remaining schedule. If they have LaMarcus Aldridge for all of those games, they'll be the favorites in every one of them. The same cannot be said for the Rockets' remaining games if they're missing Dwight for most of them and Bev for potentially all of them. And we still have to win 6 out of our last 10 to clinch home court if Portland doesn't lose again.
Paul George encapsulates the definition of a chucker. Last 8 games 5-13, 15 points 6-22, 19 points 8-19, 23 points 8-22, 21 points 2-10, 8 points 3-13, 10 points 4-17, 17 points 4-14, 24 points
Yeah...we're not that bad, just played a bad matchup against the Clippers. Portland probably isn't catching up to us, they're pretty far behind us (3 games?). I would root for Portland.
They're actually 5 games back when factoring in the tiebreaker. But it's not inconceivable that the Rockets go 4-6 in their final 10(lose at Brooklyn and Toronto, at home to OKC, at Denver or Minnesota, home to San Antonio, and at New Orleans) while Portland wins out. And let's not forget that McHale's Rockets teams are notorious for closing the season poorly. It was almost mathematically impossible for that 2012 squad to miss the playoffs, yet they did.
New York up on Golden State(entering 4th) Portland trying to break away from Memphis(entering 4th) Lakers blowing out Phoenix(half)
Can't believe how worthless Harrison Barnes has been after looking so good in the playoffs last season.
