Maybe the Rockets can catch the Blazers. As they move toward 8, we move towards number one. Dallas has to be the favorite. Assuming they win and the Rockets take them at home, they could have a 2 game advantage in the loss department :0!!!!
That is a good question. History tells me that regular seasons records against a given opponent often times don't translate come playoff time. So I am resisting our 3-0 record vs SAS as a preference for our 2nd round opponent. Whether it be SAS or OKC, either way, its going to be a uphill battle to get out of the 2nd round.
yes the Rockets should try to get the best seed and the best record possible to set the bar for next year. this year it was get homecourt first round if they end up 3rd seed they can be like - get top 2 record in the west if they stay the 4th then getting the 3rd seed is still better but in reality doesnt do too much for the team in the playoffs. gotta aim high and hope dallas can carry its momentum from the OKC win against the clippers.

Clips could lose and we get 3rd seed, at least till friday. don't know if i want it or not. Advantage of 3rd seed: Playing Portland in the 1st round (Yes they will drop), More bragging rights, easier WCF if the Spurs get there as well. Disadvantage: 2nd round will be hell
I dont know if Clippers want that 4 seed since the Spurs have their number.. they should let us have it.
