    Hell no. Securing home court over the Blazers matters a lot more than home court over Miami.

    EDIT: According to ESPN, D-Wade may be out tonight vs. Portland. That helps the Blazers' chances in that game.

    i hope that SA loses otherwise i feel the pressure on the rox is a lot more

    7th, 8th, and 9th spot in the west are a half game apart right now.

    Memphis up in their game and the Suns looking like they win theirs. Could Dallas be playing golf early this year?

    Why is it imperative that the rockets get the 3 seed just to play Portland (if they fall that far)? The Rockets have a better shot at the WCF if they sit in the 4th position. Portland may be a better match-up in the 1st round but getting to the second round and meeting OKC or the Clippers is an automatic series loss.

    The only way I feel the Rockets need to get the 3 seed is if the Spurs drop to the 2nd seed.

    You really think the rockets played the same spurs that are wrecking the league right now? The rockets are not getting past the spurs, they are going to be more difficult than both OKC and LAC. Regular season records are meaningless when evaluating teams like SA that despite coasting, still have the best record in the league by a couple of games.

    What the rockets absolutely can't do is lose in the 1st round. If that happens, this season will truly have been a failure. That is why it is imperative they draw the blazers.
