Watching the Hawks/Raptors game (boxscore live), and noticing all the juries to both teams: Atlanta: Horford, Korver Toronto: Pat, Novak, Fields Wondering how good these teams could be if healthy.
Kyle Lowry just took over the game in the 4th quarter. Outscored Hawks by 36-15 in the 4th. Lowry had 13 points. Raptors aren't letting this guy go to Houston next year.
Raptors have been probably the luckiest team in the league injury wise. 2Pat is their only meaningful player who missed significant time this year, and even he's been very healthy by 2Pat standards. Lowry and Jonas tend to get banged up a lot, yet they've been very healthy this year. Their starters have missed like 6 games combined. They've been a very good team since the Gay trade, but it's hard to imagine them playing any better.
Good. The sooner they're out of playoff contention(well, they're already done, but I want it official), the sooner Kevin Love starts planning his exit from Minnesota.
They're 0,5 game out of the 8th spot with 12 games to go. It's far from over and it's going to be interesting.
But look at the Suns' remaining schedule. Their games are mostly on the road and against some tough opponents. I think they're the odd man out in this situation.
