All these games are fairly predictable, except the Rockets / Wizards. Why the Bucks / Hornets are on NBA TV is beyond me.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan how is Charlotte 10-21? Really thought this was the year that team made a jump in the East, I especially had them at 5th seed with the Stephenson signing. Dead wrong.
It isn't just them. Starting late December and into January is where teams that get off to very hot starts begin to slide. Seemed like the Clippers, Rockets, Grizzlies, Mavs won nearly every close game. Now all 4 of those teams is settling back to Earth (along with the Spurs who are truly sliding). This happens every year in the NBA. What we don't know yet is which teams will stop wobbling sooner than others and create some separation. By April, it will become clear who the best 2-3 teams are. The Clippers won't be in the top group unless CP3 and Blake both shift into a higher gear. Their gaping hole at SF will be the death of that team. Spencer Hawes is a huge disappointment. However you slice it, Doc isn't getting the most out of that team.
