This is awesome!! Best record in the nba = OKC Remember when everyone said OKC fell off because Presti traded Harden and let Martin walk??? Remember when nba analysts and fans said OKC would be a 4 or 5 seed in the west?? Remember when Mike Miller went to Memphis because they "had the best chance of winning a title"???
No "Anaysts or fans" said they would be 4 or 5. They were still always top 3 in the west for all the analysts. You might have forgotten but Westbrook wasn't supposed to come back as early as he did and this is why many analysts had them 3rd. They expected OKC to struggle w/o Westbrook (obvious) but Brool decided ce back a month early. Get your head out of your ass.
I don't watch the OKC alot but my impression is that they can actually do better, amazing huh, with a better coach like a Lionel Hollins who'll enforce more teamball and a defensive scheme. Everytime I've watched them play too much iso from Westbrook and Durant but if it works why change it.
You serious?? Only Indy, Spurs, and Bobcats have a higher defensive efficiency than OKC. and team ball??? 14th in the league in assists, up from last yr (21st), and higher than Houston (18th)
Still not good enough to beat the Heat though, OKC fans should hope that Indiana makes the finals if OKC themselves make the finals
my favorite thing about that clip is Nick Calathes getting some serious love and the reason why Memphis is going to be good this year.
Lets see what the DUBS can do against SA with iggy back. Their last 2 weeks they have been getting off to slow starts. SA seems to always have the DUBS #
Another nationally televised game, another marquee matchup, and another great troll job by Coach Pop.

Spurs just announced Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili are being rested tonight against Golden State ... with Tony Parker (shin) still out, too
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) December 19, 2013

It's a Thursday night road game for the Spurs. Last game of a long road trip, back-to-back situation, another big home game against OKC coming up in a few days, and both Duncan and Ginobili could use the rest. There's nothing wrong with this, and the league shouldn't (and won't) fine them this time. This was the reasoning for the fine last year: “I do think we have some obligation to our fans to come up with some system, despite the disclaimers of our owners that has some kind of guarantee that if you buy a ticket for a particular team, that you might see a representative sample of that team,” Stern said. “And that’s the dilemma recognizing that there are games to be played within games. Of course I would never, never tell a coach that he shouldn’t rest a player that needs rest. We understand that completely. And that’s not what we did.”
Did the Thunder win a championship? So now a team that is supposed to win the finals is being congratulated in the middle of the season? The people that said they 'fell off' usually meant that they threw away their championship chances.
