Some of the NBA's shenanigans are so transparent. Giving the Lakers a scheduling boost to start the year. Don't be surprised if they get a roster boost before the tough part of their schedule comes up either.
Lakers are always playing lottery teams, such a soft schedule, it's unbelievable. It's like Adam Silver is catering to LeBron James.
Not only the soft schedule, but also some officiating help from the handful of close games I've watched. The NBA has a good enough reason: they can't afford to have another playoff without LeBron. He's their biggest draw.
If the Lakers had the Rockets schedule and this type of officiating they would be the 6th seed right now.
To me the Lakers roster looks like it can collapse, due to the lack of 3 point shooters. LeBron James being old and could tire out, Anthony Davis injury. Tougher schedule mid season and late in the season. The Rockets with huge losses of Eric Gordon, Danuel House has been the huge reason of these losses. Against top Teams we need Shooting.
lakers also were getting scrub teams on the 2nd night of a back to back after that scrub team played the clippers... i think that happened like 3 times already. lakers have by far the softest schedule this season so far.. and one of the softest schedules i've ever seen to start a season.
