There is a 100% chance that a one man show/minutes played etc will miss games. too much of a toll to do what he is doing at that age with how much he played in the past.

You say that - but we still don't even know if Kyrie will fulfill the requirements they set for him to come back. We don't know if he won't somehow stir up something else if he comes back. Ben Simmons is looking like he'll never be himself again. I don't think it's out of the question at all that Durant could ask to be traded again. And, personally, if I were them I would blow it up regardless and try for a top 5 pick. No, they don't get to keep their pick if it's better than ours, but ours is going to be no worst than a top 5 pick if we keep this up so that's not a bad consolation prize to kick this rebuild off.
