I've pretty much stopped scoreboard watching. Let the chips fall where they may. Until the Rockets get their minds (and bodies) right, it won't make a difference. Right now, with the way Dwight Howard is playing, we'd get eliminated by any of the other 7 Western Conference teams in the mix.

Anybody notice how Blake Griffin ESPN highlight reels are missing this year? Heck I don't hear about the Clippers that often anymore. Anthony Davis has become the NBA's new darling PF yet he's not getting the constant ESPN highlight reels like Griffin did. I wonder how Blake Griffin feels being dethroned. But all in all, seems like basketball isn't that much of a ESPN priority this season in terms of Sports Center.
Can't highlight jump shooting as much as dunks. Griffin has become a jump shooter, primarily. Just tuned in to the Spurs-Bull game. It got out of hand fast, huh? 46 - 40 Bulls in the half. Now 67 - 49 Bulls with Rose at the line. 5 mins left in the 3rd.
Gasol with 17 rebounds already?! That guy had a resurgence! Wish the Rockets could have gotten him this past off season.
I swear espn, tnt and nbatv take just about every good game. I still don't understand why league pass keeps going up and the product is being diluted by these 3 networks.
Not condoning all that happened on this forum yesterday because people were irrationally freaking out yesterday, but the situation yesterday with the Rockets and the Bulls - Spurs game today are totally different. 1) Spurs have Pop and really don't care about the reg season. 2) This is an East vs. West game so it matters even less to them. 3) Rockets were blown out 4 days prior by the same team and had a chance to redeem themselves, but didn't show up again.
If you think Spurs fans rest on their laurels from previous championships, you need to check out SpursTalk. Those guys are worse than us at times
