I don't know who she is, but I'm not too good with singers in the USA either. But maybe if I hear her name, I'll know who she is, although that is very unlikely. Nice pic, btw.
Do you know "crouching tiger hidden dragen"? She sang that song at the end of the movie. She attended the Oscar last year.
Oh...ok. I watched the movie, but I don't remember the end song. I also didn't watch the Oscars, so that doesn't help either. I don't remember anything bad about the song in the movie, so I must have thought it was pretty good. Sorry, I am really bad at singers, especially ones not so famous in the USA. edit: Did you take that from the picture properties?
her name's coco lee. if i'm not mistaken, she grew up in the u.s. san francisco if not mistaken. she's somewhat known as the asian mariah carey. and yeah she's hot.
she sings OK, not great. she looks OK, not great. she's been trying to break into the US Pop/R&B market (she was raised in San Fran), but unsuccessfully so far. do a search on google for coco lee. there are plenty of sites on her out there, like this one. did i say she looks OK? on second thought, SCHAWIIIIINNNNNNNNNNGGGG!!
Coco Lee, Jagged Edge To Perform Opening Night @ Compaq Center: http://www.nba.com/rockets/ International recording artist Coco Lee and Jagged Edge will be the featured performing acts at Compaq Center when the Rockets tip off their home opener Saturday, Nov. 2 against the Toronto Raptors. Lee will perform one song during pregame as well as the National Anthem. Jagged Edge will perform two songs at halftime, including their hit "Where's The Party At."
That's all I have to say about that...well, maybe one more thing: Where in the HELL did the Rox come off pulling Jagged Edge?!?! Why not a Houston, or even Texas talent? If they were down for some R&B, like they apparently are, why not Alief's own Destiny's Child or Scarface or giving SPM an appeal bond (Eddie's 20 now, he'd be safe from Mr. Coy being as how he's no longer a teen)? But it does speak many a word for their marketing crew (Tim?) for pulling somebody with little or no hometown ties.
