Don't know why majority picked Others. I guess people just want to vote for their home team even when they have no chance. The lakers, spurs, rocks and hornets are the favorites.

KB: Even though you have lost the gold medal, friend ,but I swear to God that I'll win a championship ring for you in conpensation for the gold medal that you lose today.

Pau: I hope so, but..... Haven't you seen yao is standing there, laughing at us...... You know,Morey has landed Ron artest. Accordingly ,I assume that the rockets will do some thing outstanding in the upcoming season.Even though I can't guarantee that they will win the title, at least they'll represent the West in the finals for sure.Hell us.

It's gonna be another year of deep talent in the West. The Rockets are clearly in the upper echelon now but nothing will come easy and anything can happen.

    The Big 8:

    Rockets
    Lakers
    Hornets
    Spurs
    Jazz
    Suns
    Blazers
    Mavericks

    The Sleepers:

    Nuggets
    Clippers
    Warriors

    The Rest:

    Kings
    Sonics
    Grizzlies
    Timberwolves

Wow we are getting our nuts handed to us. I'm not sure if we can win this one, it looks much bigger than the floorburn championships.

Cuz all the other fans from the other teams are pissed that they dont see their team mentioned in the poll, so they are putting in other.

Fixed. It's funny how drastically things can change in a year, but I doubt we'll ever see a season like last years where almost 9 teams won 50 games. The dropoff will be dramatic for some.

    It's about average.

Everyone, at least in the media is riding high on the Lakers. They deserve for being the best team in the West.

Still, I don't think they really didn't get tested until the Finals. I don't think really played any powerhouses in the West, since San Antonio was hurt as was Houston. They didn't have to play the Suns, Warriors, or Mavs.

I think all five of those teams healthy would've given them a very tough series.

I see same thing this year...I didn't think they could beat us in series last year, and won't this year, especially with Artest.

People just don't see how much better this team has gotten compared to last year...it is very ignorant to sleep on such a team that won 55 games without its best player and added one of the greatest defense players in the league who can give you 20+ on any given night.
