Looks like NBA fans will absolutely LOVE the new NBA TV contract they signed this year. You pretty much get NBA games EVERY DAY! The article below talks about NBA.com TV getting 4 games a week.

    --------------------------------------------
AOL will buy stake in NBA TV

AOL Time Warner Inc. will pay $45 million for an 11 percent stake in NBA TV, the National Basketball Association's digital cable channel, NBA Entertainment President Adam Silver said. Previously, the NBA had considered starting an all-sports television network with AOL as part of a $4.6 billion, six-year contract with AOL's TNT and Walt Disney Co.'s ESPN and ABC. Launching an all-sports channel remains a possibility, Silver said. Under the new agreement, NBA TV will now carry 98 games, or about four a week. The league had planned to show the same number of games on its proposed all-sports channel. NBA TV will also show the Women's NBA, international leagues as well as basketball- themed programming, Silver said. The league had hoped to have its new channel carried in about 12 million homes on three U.S. cable systems.
    --------------------------------------------

What the above article means is that we get games 7 days a week. You almost don't even need NBA league pass! Here is the breakdown.

NBA.com TV (digital cable channel) - Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue nights
(Those days were previously mentioned by Rudy Martzke USA Today [Sports on TV column])
    ESPN - Wednesday
    TNT - Exclusive Thursday doubleheaders
    ESPN - Friday
ESPN2 - Saturday or Sunday afternoon games
ABC - Sunday aftyernoon games later on in the season.

That's a pretty sweet deal for NBA fans...especially if you get NBA.com TV via your digital cable or satellite dish. NBA on EVERY DAY? AWESOME!

Yeah but they'll show all the high market teams or the teams that performed well last year.

Im a grizzlie fan and I saw every one of their games on league pass.

I'll still eventually have to get it because i'd get sick of watching the lakers and mavs play on all those channels 3 times a week.

NBA League Pass is awesome and I encourage everyone that can get it to get it. But if you can't get it then the new NBA TV contract is pretty cool.

I think the high profile games WILL be shown on ESPN/TNT but the games on NBA.com TV might NOT be as HIGH profile as those shown on the other cable channles. Since they will have SO many games (one a night) they are more apt to show a larger variety of teams which I think is really cool.

I like having the choice of watching whatever game I want to watch, not what someone else wants me to watch. NBA League Pass offers the freedom to choose the game you want.

Absolutely! But, like I said before, for those that don't have the $$ to pay for League pass or their cable provider does not offer it, the new league TV deal is pretty sweet.
