Didn't see this posted anywhere yet. Please lock it up if it is already posted. Not to beat a dead horse, but why don't they post these on the Rockets page. Oh well. This was on the Kings homepage.

    Postgame Quotes-vs. Houston

    Kings Coach Rick Adelman
g We just didnft have any answers today. They were terrific and they shot the ball so well. In the first half we didnft get to their shooters. (David) Wesley, (Mike) James and Jon (Barry) just shot the lights out. We just didnft seem to have what we needed today.h

r> gI think they were really playing with a high level of confidence. Those guys were taking shots, open court shots and James just drilled shots and Wesley did to. I think they had 14 points out of 66 in the paint. So that was a switch for us. We got beat, they just handed it to us.h

gWe werenft getting to shooters and they were knocking down every shot. It wasnft like they were pounding inside or getting to the basket with a lot of jump shots. We couldnft get our hands up and we couldnft get to guys and they made us pay. We did a better job the second half but 66 points is a lot of points when most of them were coming from the outside.h

    On Brads injury:
g I have no idea, I mean he wasnft doing anything as simple as that. He was out there like he had been every day trying to do some light running and he shot with the big guys. As far as I know he just tried to test it, go up and jump off of it and he let out a yell and was obviously hurting. (Head trainer) Pete (Youngman) took him into the training room and I didnft know anything had happened even after I talked to the media. When I came back they were back from the X-Rays and I was totally shocked. There must have been something going on in there before that. Itfs a major blow obviously to us but we have to get these guys together these last 18 games.h

    Cuttino Mobley:
gThey were hot and we didnft close out enough. We didnft rotate good enough in the first half and they had the confidence, so the second half was more of a coast for them. We fought back to get it to about six or five and then they would make a quick bucket.h

"Itfs just a game we needed. I just wanted to come out really hard and it just so happened to be Houston. The next game is Orlando so Ifm going to come out hard that game also.h

gI think I missed about seven easy ones right at the bucket. It wasnft like they were playing good defense. They were making a lot of jump shots. They had fifty-two points from the outside. g

gIfm frustrated at myself. Missing easy shots in the first half.h

    Eddie House:
gThey shot the ball extremely well and we just couldnft get over the hump today. We got close, but we just didnft get over the hump. They got us today and we have to get ready for Tuesday.h

gIfm not surprised. The guys over there can shoot the ball. Four of them (shot) over forty (percent) from three, so they knew they could stroke the ball and thatfs a great compliment to have when they have a big man down there that can also score. They shot the ball well and they did what the numbers showed they did. They got us today.h

    Kenny Thomas:
gYes, it was obvious. They were passing the ball real well and knocking down shots. At halftime they didnft have a lot of shots in the paint, so they were basically killing us from the outside. Youfre always going to get some games like that and the only thing you can do is get your hand their face and hope that they miss.h

gWe just had a bad day as far as shooting. We had a lot of guys that didnft knock down shots including myself. The thing about this is that we get another chance on Tuesday.h

    Peja Stojakovic:
gThey played good basketball and we kind of struggled. You have to give them credit; they made a lot of shots. Right now theyfre playing really smart basketball.h

gWe tried to put out the effort. We got close to them and made some crucial turnovers and from that point we werenft able to come back. You have to give them credit, they played better basketball.h

    HOUSTON ROCKETS

    Coach Van Gundy:
gWefre a better offensive team. Wefre much quicker, we pass the ball better.h

gItfs hard. Bibbyfs so good at it and Mobley a better pick-and-roll player than most people realize. They stretch the floor with three guys that can make the three.h

gI donft worry about what the fans think. I worry about what we think and what his (Yaofs) teammates think. Yaofs doing fine.h

gWinning is confidence. Youfre only confident when you win. Thatfs why everythingfs about approach and attitude. If we come out with the right approach, wefll be in the game and have chances to win. If wefre not, like we were in the second half (of todayfs game), we came out with the wrong approach, and they (the Kings) were clearly the aggressors and it almost cost us.h

    Tracy McGrady:
gI think we really locked in defensively to try to prevent them (the Kings) from making another run.h

gWe put some points up on the board because wefre doing a great job of sharing the ball. Wefve got guys that can flat-out shoot the ball and when those guys are shooting, it opens it a lot up for Yao. Wefre doing a great job of rebounding. Juwan (Howard) is doing a great job of getting us second opportunities on the offensive end. Wefre also doing a great job of playing great defense and getting on the transition.h

gMike (James) has been huge. Hefs taking the pressure off of myself and Yao. It gives us more opportunities to rest because wefve got some scorers out there. And that gives us a chance to spread the ball a little bit and give Yao a chance to kind of play one-on-one at times, opposed to getting double-teamed. When Mike (James) and Jon (Barry) and myself are out there, youfve got to pick your poison, who youfre going to come off? All three of us can shoot. Mike (James) is doing a fabulous job of getting his points within the offense.h

    David Wesley:
gHe (Coach Van Gundy) still preaches defense and having a good bench.h

g(Wefve got) a lot of confidence. Wefre starting to play the kind of basketball that is going to do well in the playoffs. I think wefre all happy about the way wefre playing right now. We just donft want to give one up in Golden State.h

gI like the fact that we havenft given our big leads all away. We havenft lost games lately. A couple of times wefve had teams run at us in the fourth quarter and second half and catch us. Itfs really important for us, when teams make runs like they (the Kings) did tonight, not to panic and to go out there and get baskets while wefre getting stops. I think wefve done a much better job of holding people off and even getting back into games.h

Let me guess, Cat. The Kings are the better team, and you would have won if it weren't for that gimmicky 3 point shot.

Man these guys just can't let it go and give credit where credit is due.
