Utah's Paul Millsap, also a second round pick, was number 6. He will play backup PF for the Jazz. The beefy rebounder against the toothpick 3 point shooter. Should be good.

rondo and marcus williams will be the biggest steals of the draft. they should've been lotto picks.

millsap looks like a real steal too.

if novak can be a decent rebounder and defender he will be one of the top steals in the draft. he's already the best shooting in the league

actually Millsap and Novak was my favorite coming into the draft.
for Millsap, although he was from a small basketball school as Louisiana Tech. he's still the leading rebounder for 3 year in a raw and that's rare, and he's taller than our very own Hayes (6-8), I saw him as a poor man's Rodman, however I don't think he's as smart as the worm

mark my words, if you care,
Paul Millsap will be averaging 10+ rebound if he got 25 mpg

When the Gay-Battier trade went down I was really disappointed since I thought we could actually get the 24th pick back in return which we can use

well, at least the Rox drafted 1 out of 2 of my favorite

I love "I don't think he's as smart as the worm, because Rodman is a player that looks like a complete moron from his hair and what not, but had SUPER HIGH BBall IQ. He kept toying with PFs that were better than him like Malone all the time.

Yeaa just felt like saying this :).

I remember when we drafted Cat in the second round (1st, right?) and the organization was singing his praises before he even got into camp.

Novak did get praise from mgmt. after the draft, but with a "give him some time mantra" so it's frikkin' hilarious he's rated so highly now by nba.com.

But the reason is probably based on what some have seen rather than his just dandy preseason.

He has a pretty stroke, but it's much more how quickly he sets his feet with a lighning quick release. I don't want him to struggle, but he will, and I've never seen the kind of accolades he's getting for a second round pick.

    Too fun.

I've posted this in some other thread, and I forgot where to find it. Anyway.

If we can get Novakaine into the 3pt shooting contest for the All Star game, he would be a definate lock to win the MF. I know you can vote him in if he's on the ballot, but how do you get him on the ballot to begin with?

#5 isn't bad at all. he was the #8 pick.

marcus williams will be a heck of a player one day.
