Those guys are all lucky that Walt Williams is classified as a small forward :)

Cuttino only got 1% of the vote? Ouch...I know he's better than Tony Parker or Steve Smith...

i think the nba is in a bind over which guards to play for the western conference ("coahches decision" players). This is there way of doing market research.

Starting spots set by the public are steve & kobe. No way in hell is the 3rd gurad not going to be payton, leaving the forth spot open. Steve Nash (international player) vs Finley (Dallas' All star incumbant (sp?)) vs Cat (objectively the best of the 3:D). They want to see how the public would react. This is of course meaningless if they include 5 guards in the lineup.

    Five guards
    Five forwards
    Two centers

Kelvin Cato, making his first and only career All Star Appearance, takes home All Star co-MVP honors with Steve Francis as Cato scores 30 points and pulls down 15 boards and Steve rings in a triple double in his first all star appearance with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists as the West romps over the East 155-115...

I like how Cuttino has a firm grip on the lead.

I know for sure that Cuttino is better than Nash, Parker, and Steve Smith. I think the reason Mobley got 1% vote is that everyone voted for Francis instead of Mobley... If you are a houston fan, you probably voted for Francis not Mobley.
Mobley is not a lesser player than anyone in the list (except francis)... it is just that Francis is a way better player than Mobley

The NBA obviously doesn't think so . . . throwing him out of games for things that didn't even happen . . .

Steve is the best in Texas, but Nash is better than Cat. Nash can break down a defense better than Cat. He has an under the basket move that really opens things up for his teamates. Cat has a quicker first step and is a better scorere, but Nash is the better gaurd. For now at least. Hopefully Cat wil devlope the Basketball sense that Nash has one day.

Finley is the best guard in tx. Seems to me , he's the only guard who has made the all star game except for smith.

Yeah, but most Rocket's fans probably voted for Steve, leaving a few Rocket's Fans and some Cuttino Mobley Fans to vote for him.

Sorry, but Nash is WAY better than Cat. The only thing that Cat has that is better is that first step and he steals more than Nash. Nash is better in everything else - especially in making smart decisions on the court. Just compare their percentages and assist numbers...
