Sorry if anyone else has posted this already. Didn't see it.

Iverson (74%) way ahead of Steve (9%).

I know how much some of you guys like to participate in these things.

At least Francis is ahead of Marbury! :)

Stupid polls...Francis against Iverson. 1 on 1. Francis would win.

Iverson is more popular though...and the 76ers are one of the most popular teams in America....Rockets probably in China.......

    What other players wear #3?

U r kidding right??? If it is 1 on 1 for 11 points, AI will score every time on Francis' D. And he will stop Francis al least once. Advantage AI.

Well How about we bombard this poll for Francis like we did the ROY poll for Yao on Amare's home turf on AZcentral.com. Damn that was funny! :D

I think there is a legit argument that he should be in 3rd maybe 4th place on that list. Wallace and Marbury are at least as good of players if not better than Francis at this point in their careers.

Yetti: "Of course, Mr. non-team player Francis would rather participate in popularity polls than work on his passing skills! "

    Or something like that.

  11. iverson sucked against francis this year. francis is too big, too strong for iverson. francis is better then AI.

Mobley covered Iverson last year. Francis couldn't cover Earl Boykins. Francis's sucky defense only rivals one other PG on the payroll. Matt Maloney.

I would take Francis over Iverson any day. Francis doesn't play the best defense, but he has Yao, Cato and Eddie behind him. I would take Francis any day over a low percentage shooter like Iverson. If Francis took as many shots as Iverson does, he would score 30+ every night.

If I were a GM, I'd take Francis over AI as it stands today.

Steve is younger and shoots a much higher FG%. I think it would be easier to build around Steve than AI. Not to mention, Steve isn't as disruptive in the locker room as AI.

AI has a couple years on Steve so his reputation in the league is stronger but I bet if you take this poll in 3 years, it'll be reversed. Also, AI gets east coast media so he gets more pub.

Francis has consistently outplayed Iverson head to head, not just this season.
