No way he'll finish #2, but I'm confident in Top 5. Durant, Horford, and Yi will finish ahead of him almost certainly.

Scola has no chance of being ROY. I think that a bonafide rookie "superstar" like Durant or Yi will always have the edge. I think the reason being is that Scola is always gonna be a roll player while Durant/Yi were made for a star position in their respective teams, hence more touches and minutes.

Scola is a bonafide starter in the NBA. He Rick Im Dumb Adelman gets the message and begins to start him and play him for 32 plus minutes a game, he will average 12 points and 10 rebounds a game. That's a double double folks! And in contention for rookie of the year!

Of course we may never see or know it with the dumbest coach in the league on our sidelines this year!

his numbers are looking good. hes right up there with everyone except durant (look at durants shooting percentage) like what i see, he has heart and thats what really matters.

I don't really like Durant. He is the star on Seattle which lets him take his 17 shots per game, and hes shooting under 40%. Also, that he needs to put on a few pounds...

But he should develop and shoot around 45% and 25 ppg in 3 or 4 years

Scola doesn't have the natural talents like Durant and Yi. I'm not a fan of Durant nor Yi, but let's be real.. Scola will be hitting the ceiling of his career in a couple years.. and probably too much to improve on skill-wise. Durant and Yi are very good young prospects with a whole NBA career ahead of them. It also helps that they play in a subpar/mediocre teams at best, which gives them more opportunities to pad their stats.

I just don't see that with Scola in this team. This is a good team looking for a championship or at least a deep playoff run. They're not looking to develop players, they're looking for immediate contribution that's why they got Battier and Scola instead of Gay. We have too many options for Scola to shine. And yes I still believe this team is padded with talent and scorers.

Scola has no chance of finishing ahead of Durant or Horford. When you consider Yi, Moon, Sean Williams and Nick Young (since Gilbert is injured), it's 50/50 Scola finishes in the top 5.
