National media just salivates over potential star players such as Curry and Randolph. They showed three Curry 3 pointers but failed to mention he was on 4-14 form the field. Us Rockets fan will just have to get used to being under appreciated all season long if our team consists of only role players and no "stars".

Its ok. As long as the rookies can produce on court and get the team wins. The media and other teams can have all their appreciation to themselves. The important thing is to win and for the rookies and veterans like White and Dorsey to get much needed exposure to develop and get ready for the upcoming season.

    Wow.

Curry made like 4 shots and all they do is ejaculate to him.

Could the guy holding the camera be any worse? I mean, crap. The thing looks like the Blair Witch Project of the Summer League.

Cool interview, though, thanks for the find!

    Rookie Radar
    Name: Chase Budinger
    Team: Houston
Status: Second-round pick (No. 44) by Detroit, traded to Houston
A younger version of: At 6-foot-7 and 218, he's got the bounce and body type of Richard Jefferson. One personnel director who worked Budinger out before the Draft was impressed with his athleticism, but thought the San Diego native needed a little more grit to his game. Budinger does have a nice shot and above-average court awareness. The Arizona product had a NBA Summer League debut with 11 points (5-of-11 shooting) and five rebounds in 20 minutes Friday against Golden State.
Chances of making team: Nothing is guaranteed as a second-round pick and Budinger knows it. He’s also going to a team in transition, with the playing status of Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady up in the air for the upcoming season. "It’s not all up to me," he said of his odds of sticking with the Rockets. “I’ve got to keep playing hard, listening to the coaches and do all the things they ask of me.”

Curry has a quick release. Chase Budinger's shot looks smooth as well. If Chase can show some dribble penetration and adequate defensive ability, he could be a really nice piece of the puzzle.

That's the perfect description of the shaky camera. LOL I was getting motion sickness. There are cell phone videos by school children that more steady than that camera.

Why was the camera focusing on Budinger's neck and chin for most of the shot?

    That was my question?
I hope it's not an injury thing because he should be getting minutes over Budinger in my opinion.

Chase has such a nice looking shot. Smooth release, and perfect form every single time. It reminds me a lot of Novak. But unlike Novak I hope he can D up enough to stay on the court.

Yeah this guy's got a nice simple but great shooting form and he's athletic, I see a lot of upside in this guy.

Damn, can't watch with the BS connection error which is a de facto discrimination against global fans.
