Kings Injury Woes Continue: Miller Fractures Fibula
    http://www.nba.com/kings/

SACRAMENTO, CA ---- Sacramento Kings center Brad Miller suffered a non-displaced fracture of his left fibula today (3/12/05). The fracture was confirmed by x-rays taken at the UC Davis Medical Center. The injury took place while Miller was going through light shooting drills during practice. It is expected to take approximately four to six weeks for the bone to heal.

Can the Kings hold onto the 5th seed with Miller out? Skinner and Songolia are playing well, but they arent Miller.

I think we'll move up to the fifth spot due to Miller's injury. Hasn't Bibby pulled out 2 buzzer beaters their last two games, but I just don't think they can hold on to the spot.

The trade is looking a lot better for the Kings, they get a legit Kenny Thomas... and 2 decent role players in Skinner and Williamson.

Webber on the other hand, having trouble playing with AI.

Whoa the curse of the "next team to play the Rockets will incur an injury" is at it again. Baron Davis better look out.

Sacramento might fall to 7th at this rate.

Bad news for Sac town, great news for the Rox. I really like our chances after this turn of events.

That b*stard is on my fantasy teams... Skinner is producing Miller's numbers on D, but he's streaky offensively.

That'll impact them a game or two when Bibby and Peja have off nights, but they've done this enough seasons to knows what's going for them.

I'm not sure I want the Rockets at the 5th seed.

    Hopefully this scenerio will happen:

Rox and Grizzlies leapfrog Sacremento in the standings.
    Grizzlies leapfrog Rox.

    Grizzlies #5, Rox #6, Kings #7 or #8 or whatever. :D

Why is Brad Miller so brittle?

I mean, he's not Camby or C-Webb, but it seems like the nagging injuries start to pile up with him late in the year and just kill his game. It's happened the past 2-3 seasons.

He seems pretty solidly built, and he spends most of his time on offense in the high post... Doesn't really make sense to me.

Why is that ideal? To have the Grizz leapfrog the Rockets?!

Glad to hear the wooes continue for Sac Town, sorry to hear it's an injury.

I don't care who the Rockets play, this team is good enough to beat anyone and lose to anyone....just bring em on...

This officially means I picked the worst team in fantasy basketball history. Brad Miller, Baron Davis, Gerald Wallace UGH.

The reasoning is that if the standings continue to bear out, then the team in 5th place will have to do the Texas two step against Dallas and San Antonio in order to make the Western Conference Finals. But the team in 6th would have to run through the Sonice and the Suns.

Personally, I'm so confident about this team, I couldn't care less about playoff matchups. The Rox are going to kick ass regardless. So screw this 6th seed talk. The Rockets are going to finish the season on a 20 game winning streak, get home court advantage in the first round, and ride our superstars all the way to the title.

If the curse thing is really God given, we should expect Ray Allen, Steve Nash, and TD go down one by one in the playoffs, and the Rockets have a clear path to the finals.

Then the tragedy to Shark, and the Rockets laugh all the way to the bank with the league title.

He is a flower center/forward, period. And we know that flowers wilt eventually without careful watering and nuition.;)

Sacto is useless around him, they need someone at the high post to run things, and without Vlade, Webber and Miller they're in deep doo-doo.

He was on my fantasy team as well, I'm in first but hanging on for dear life. Had to pick up Eddie Najera because I needed steals and Yahoo lets him play center. (??)
