This is Deke's event (much like the one in China was Yao's event) - so to be fair - here's the link to the homepage of Basketball Without Borders - Africa.

One of the best things about being associated with this team is the amount of community work that the guys do - I mean really do, not just show up and take the PR photo - but still work when the cameras are off and the news stations go home.

We've seen it in the two Basketball Without Borders events and in the last week's Katrina Relief efforts (two in particular I want to point out are the Wesley family and the Van Gundy family - all of whom were out there working all day in the heat - including David's wife and kids)
