    wow tinman, are u serious??

u were one of my favorite posters, after this, ur rating probably went way down!!

    LOL. j/k

but still tinman, he is no legend. Kenny "the Jet" Smith was a scrub. he always got pwned and the only time he did something good was his 8 3's game (which is probably pure luck)..

Kenny somehow made himself to a B list celebrity and can throw big parties with LeBron (confirmed) and more celebs.

I'm proud of Kenny, they always have to mention the Rockets. Chuck and Kenny. The championships will never be forgotten thanks to him.

No matter what he thinks of Tmac and Yao.

I cant make it cause I was just in Vegas last month. if any Clutchfan goes to Vegas on all star weekend, they should definetly go, take pictures and talk to the NBA stars.

Disrespect your elders like that, someone oughta wash your mouth out with soap.

Did you by any chance watch that Orlando series live? Did you actually see the three that he launched into the face of "50 - 49 cent" Hardaway at the end of regulation in Game One of that series? Were you a Rocket fan watching that moment live when it happened? Because if you were, and you called Kenneth Smith a scrub, you, my friend, are beyond help. He started at PG for both of our championship runs. Do you think just anyone can run an offense? ask anyone, he was a leader on that team.

Kenny Smith a scrub. For shame.

LOL @ the your whole post, and especially @ the "Penny" reference. great post man.

but u seem to completely ignore the NY series where he got pwned by a guy named Derek Harper.

here's the official proof of him getting pwned:

Kenny choked, Cassell saved his behind.. no doubt about that.. :D

Anyone going to Vegas for All-Star? I figure that will be one of the few places where ya don't have to pay for some high-priced party to have fun.

Thank you. I would have attempted to say the same thing, but you just did. Kenny was not scrub. He has his flaws, a lot of them, but a scrub he was not.

Fact: Kenny Smith was the starting point guard.
    Fact: We won two championships.

Championships are won by a team, and I'm a proud fan of all the players on both of those championship teams. Even the Scotty Brooks, Chucky Brown, "Amigo", Charles Jones...etc.

First of all the championship is about a whole season. It is important to note that by the end of the NY series Kenny had gotten over his brief slump.

Kenny was always among the league's leaders in 3 pt. %. He was a great compliment to the inside out game we ran with Dream at the center.

Kenny was beyond a scrub, while not a star.

As an added bonus Kenny Smith was runner up in the slam dunk competition one year. I believe it was before he was a Rocket, but the kid had hops.

He provided valuable minutes and was a vocal leader during the championship runs. Other players and Rudy said as much, and if you watch any of the behind the scenes pre-game huddle, it was always Kenny giving the motivating speeches.

He did his part, and he did it well. That mini-slump against the Knicks not withstanding.

Oh yes oh yes. Game 7, kenny was $$$ against New york. He was actually pretty chill too - he was tough, resilient, and came back after getting his lunch money stolen by Harper early in the series. He whooped Harper's behind in Game 7.

Cassell was fine, he is my man too, but he was not saving Kenny, kenny handled himself. And when he did not, Vernon took care of business.

On a serious note, i dont like when selfless players get labeled scrubs, that is whole damn reason behind the Chucky Brown Fan Club - just because you make things happen for OTHER people, that does not make you a scrub. If you're good at it, that makes you kick-ass.

    Go Kenny.

    i dont believe this!

thanks to kenny and a little help from nick anderson, hakeem got the oppurtunity to tip in the game winning basket in game 1 of the nba finals. everyone knows that if the magic took game 1, it wouldve been a different series...

I'm going to be there... Already got tickets to Jam Session and hopefully, with my uncle's help, I can get into the All-Star practice for FREE!!!

I would much rather go to T-Mac's party than Kenny Smith, but don't know about dropping 3 bills for a party and T-Mac's is way too exclusive...

Kenny Smith would get smoked on d because fire hydrants had more lateral maneuverability than he did, but the Rockets would've struggled to get to the Finals without Kenny's gunning from the outside in the playoffs. The guy shot 45% from 3 pt. land during the first championship run and something like 40-45% during the 2nd run. He was our best 3 point shooter.

Kenny Smith never misses an opportunity to "blast" the Rockets on TNT. The name "Rockets" is like raw meat in front of Kenny or Charles. If they hate the Rockets so much, why would Rocket fans want to hang around with them. Invite some Spurs fans, they love the Spurs.

Alot of Rockets left the organization bitter, even Rudy.

this has nothing to do with a celebrity party where you know tons of cool people will be hanging out plus hot women.
