I can't believe that this was made by professionals. First off it takes forever to create a player match because it just wont let you join the lobby after you have created the match. And then if it does create the match most of the time the xbox will freeze right when the game is about to start. Also its so damn difficult to play a match against a friend. Its a headache. Im a huge 2k9 fan, but I'm ready to switch over to live just because of how ****ty the online mode is for 2k9. And I know its not just my xbox b/c two of my friends are experiencing the exact same problems. Anybody else out there just find the online mode frustrating?

I still haven't decided whether or not to get 2k9. I loved 2K8 and I want the updated rosters but don't want to shell out $60 for a crappy game. I also thought about getting Live but I couldn't get over how much I disliked their shooting controls. So I'm pretty much stuck between getting 2K9 or not getting a basketball game at all. Maybe next year. =/
If you love 2K8, why would 2K9 be crappy to you? The game is great. It plays pretty good out of the box, but get yourself some good rosters and sliders (that you can now download from others on their servers) and the game plays the best ball I've ever seen. Though I can't speak for their online stuff since I haven't touched it yet. But, all the things they have or the leagues blows me away.
I've had difficulty starting matches at times. Usually it takes a few tries before a game will start. On another note, does anyone have trouble getting the online win achievements? I have won about 4 or 5 ranked quick matches so far and it never gave me any of the achievemnets. I don't understand why I didn't get them.
