Hey guys, were putting together a GAMEBATTLES team on NBA2k9. I've been on a team before, was actually in the top 10 in the world, but due to recent controversy, I've decided to make a new team, thats where you come in. Im (GamerTag: The Reckoning X) looking for people (at least 4-6 more) who are active in the Team-Up feature of the game, and who want to play some games as a team where it will actually be recorded in online ladders. Its basically like playing an Online League but instead of playing by yourself, you are playing as a team. Anyways, would love to find other ROX fans to play with, everyone I always play with are never familiar with my team, and it gets frustrating when everyone wants to play with the front-runner teams all the game. Again my GamerTag is The Reckoning X, even if ur not interesting in the Gamebattles.com league, I wouldnt mind playing some games against other fans of my interests. PS. Having a MIC is not nessesary, but it helps out alot.
I'd be interested but would also need an idea of times you would generally play. I've never played that mode on this year's game but I've always wanted to try and sounds really fun. XBOX Live ID=Stinky Punk
Not unless you know how to use them. Of course Yao is beastly but besides him they have alot of players that you have to be real familiar with (shot styles, post up moves, ect.)
Hmm...seems to me they are one of the most used teams online, which usually means all the 15 year old cheezers are picking them. I figured there must be a good reason for it (ie. they're good for exploiting).
Im not talking about 1on1 cheesin style game. Im sayin 5on5 legit TeamUp where you have to know how to control an individual asset of a team. When your playin regular matches, you are generally on superstar, which means you dont have to be able to have good releases in order for it to go in, and you can go through one player the entire game, because the AI of the computer defenders isnt significant enough to stop off the ball players. When your playin on HallOfFame, 7 minute quarter, TeamUp, you have to work as a team, especially with teams like the Rockets, who dont have a talent on the wings that can take you off the dribble.
I see. I've only played teammate a few times and it was with strangers...and the lag was crippling a lot of the time. When it worked, it was very fun though. I can see how strategy is a lot different now that you mention it.
Do you all always play on HoF? In previous games I've found that the computer always made impossible plays that made the game more unrealistic, so I didn't even try it out on this one. Has that changed?
I am down as well. I'm pretty good at my defense, I believe, and know how to do post moves pretty well. GT: KSrawool
i play..i'll have to get you my gamertag later i forgot...i play the game realistic though, mean i run plays and i try to not score too many Points in the paint, unfortunetly, when ppl online dont play that way, i'm force to play the way they do to keep up.
