is EAs buyout of take 2 sports complete? i thought howard was an EA sports guy (wasnt he on one of the those nba ballers commercials, isnt that EA?) chances are its paul again 2k tends to stay with the same athlete for a few covers, except ben wallace who was only one it once i believe. iverson was on it for like the first 3-4 versions of the game

I just got a PS3 and I rented NBA 2k8. I was less than impressed. I thought I was going to love the game and see a huge jump in graphics, technology, overall play etc as I loved NBA 2k3, 2k4 etc from when I had a PS2. Instead the buttons suck, the graphics aren't that great and the game is frickin hard. I'm appalled I paid 8 bucks to rent this game. Back to COD4 and counting down till NCAA Football 2009 comes out.
NBA Ballers is Midway IIRC (definitely not EA, they do NBA Street). I have no idea if Howard is a EA guy though (at least for NBA sims).

i think they save int. players for their country. when i went to spain, Gasol was on the cover on nba live ever year. same when i went to germany. Dirk was on the cover. I'm assuming the same goes for Argentina, China, and other countries.
If they can put Bret Favre on the cover of a game after he retired, they should just put MJ on the new cover bc he meant so much to the game.
