Discuss! Oh yeah, also could you describe the pro and cons of each game, even though they are complete different sports.
I enjoy playing Madden more than NBA 2K10. 2K10 took a step back this year, IMO. It's not worth buying, although the game flow is better. But as far as upgrades, there's nothing significant.
2K.... it's not even close for me. I have both... I can probably say I'll be playing 2K10 100X more (literally) than Madden.
Just turned off 2K10 and it's really good. It's a most complete basketball simulation ever, it feels like you're actually watching the real NBA game. I recommend 2K10
I'm not a soccer fan but I'm hearing lots of good things about Fifa 10. Madden was alright this year but 2k10 looks way too good to pass up.
NO WAY lol....have u played 2k9? that game took a step back...with many fundamental game play problems like points in a paint....3/4 of the AI cpu's points were coming in from the painted area. nba 2k10 has improved since 2k9....and in my opinion it is the closest to sim basketball ever with adjusted sliders.
Totally stoked about that one. Basketball's my fav. sport to watch/play IRL, but FIFA is my favorite game of all time.
I'm more of a basketball fan. You can develop players in NBA2k You can trade players fairly easy in 2k you can always comeback from a huge deficit in Basketball.
Before this year I hated Madden because I thought it wasn't that realistic with the receivers jumping up with one arm to make a catch, but this year I would play Madden over 2k10. Madden is badass
...just skip a few meals and get both(I did) ...but if you had to choose one, I would take 2k. My Player mode is waaaaayyy addicting. Madden is a very good game - the best football simulation to date(as 2k is to the basketball games), but it's the little things that separate the two games and Madden's rookie mode doesn't even compare to the My Player mode in 2k. The Rookie mode, Madden Moments, Drills, etc are good in Madden, but the draw is clearly the game - the other modes don't hold one's interest for very long. On the other hand, the My Player mode in 2k rivals the regular franchise mode in repeat playability. I just got a 10 day contract to play with the Mavs and it's crazy because the first time I hit the court playing against guys like Artest or Kobe, I was kind of worried/freaked out(mostly because my rating is low compared to theirs) that I would give up a lot of points and not get picked up when my contract expired. I found myself getting irritated chasing Rip Hamilton around screens or being asked to guard small but overpowering PFs like Boozer and Odom (my player is suppose to be a versatile 6-8 SF), and feeling like I just want to get out with a win deep in the 4th quarter when my player was tired and noticeably slower but there was still two minutes left in a close game and I was chasing around Kevin Martin. It's really a nice new wrinkle to the traditional sports sim game - I highly recommend it.
Madden FTW All the haters don't know how to play football. Most of the whining noobs play spread offense and throw the ball deep way too often. Then they cry cause I intercept em and take it to the house. Please learn to play defense and stop complaining. Anyway enough of the rant, it can get frustrating trying to find a quality opponent online. These kids keep infesting the game with sorry ass tactic and loser attitude. OK now I have to go back, can't stop playing Madden.
