So, a few weeks ago, this guy moved into the office across the hall. I recently found out he was in the Navy during his early years, so I have been relentless... calling him Commodore, Swabbie, and Petty Officer and singing the Village People song. These really seem to get to him, so I need to turn it up a notch. Any suggestions?
Yo Angle02, I'm really happy for your sense of patriotism, and Imma let you finish, but just wanted to remind you that Paul Revere rode that freakin' horse for liberty...HE RODE THAT FREAKIN HORSE!
Write "go to hell" on his birthday card. I have heard that is something really funny to do at an office.
Being in the Navy, I'm going to go ahead and call you a tool. I'm disappointed the guy doesn't strike back with quick wit. I would've thought he'd know better by now. That said, when he annoys you just ask him if he should be doing sweepers at that time.
Ask him if he can swim. If he says he can, say you don't believe him. If there's a fountain around, ask him to prove it.
Nah. We've already had the serious discussions and he's sort of my trainee for fire assignments (which makes it all the more necessary to give him grief).
If you get along well enough with the person, and they know your humor, it is fine. For someone like you? Not so much. Some people can't take a joke.
Squid. For some reason everytime I think of the Navy I think of the scene in Pearl Harbor at the end where they are going on Doolittle's raid and you hear them announce over the speaker "Navy Pilots Man Your Planes" Say that to him.
